Best Brake Pads/Discs

I need to buy new front brake pads and discs for my '97 540i. I am looking online are there a lot of brands. For brake pads there is Pagid, PBR, Jurid, Akebono, to name a few. For discs, there is Zimmerman, Brembo, ATE, to name a few. Besides the OEM BMW brand, what are the best quality brands for pads and discs? Thanks!

how much money would you like to spend? Brembo makes the whole set for a few thousand that incudes pads rotors and brake lines. ive heard Zimmerman rotors are pretty good for the buck. Pagid brake pads ive also heard are one of the best as well as Raybestos. in my opinion, the more expensive the pads and rotors, the better quality you get.
